Presence of antiHCV antibodies in the blood serum of children with chronic HBV infection

Abstract
The evaluation of frequency of antiHCB antibodies occurrence in the blood serum in the children with chronic HBV infection was performed. 158 patients with chronic hepatitis B including 126 children with antigenemia HBs and HBe and histopathologicly diagnosed chronic hepatitis and 32 children with antigenemia HBs and presence of anti HBe antibodies in the blood serum were qualified for the study. In 4 patients (2.54%) chronically infected with HBV the presence of antiHCV antibodies in the blood serum was found.
