Electrophoretic techniques in analysis of synovial fluid

Abstract
Principles and examples of separation of the human synovial fluid proteins and glycosaminoglycans by electrophoresis on cellulose acetate, agarose and polyacrylamide gels are presented. Applicability of immunoelectrophoresis and capillary electrophoresis for evaluation of synovial fluid, proteins and glycosaminoglycans is also reviewed.
